About the Authors

Cornelia B. Wheeler, PhD is a Professor of Biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley. She has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where she held leadership positions at Pfizer and Roche. Dr. Wheeler is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and the International Society for Bayesian Analysis.

S. Stanley Young, PhD is a Professor of Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where he held leadership positions at Merck and Co. Dr. Young is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
